Service is great, good selection of courses but a little chilly. Once you get playing not to bad. I would recommend and have been multiple times.
My dad and i Went there on a friday. tee off 11:30 am. price when i had booked a tee time, was $50 per hour. (which is typically $10/hr more than any other place in the city) turned out to be $60 per hour when we finished up and paid. said it was holiday weekend rate. holiday isn’t till the coming monday (family day). screen was sagging. no food. could order uber or skip. overall experience was not impressed. pricey expensive drinks. 2 people $197.00 for 6 beers and a round of simulator. Go Somewhere else. Couple days later the owner tries to contact me, defending his business. cause why wouldn’t you. telling me he wants my email so we can talk privately. (weird) but not unheard off. probably wants to tell me some stuff he doesn’t want the general public to see. and he wants me to take my 1 star review down. he is lucky to get 1 star. i base my review 100% on price, quality, cleanliness. friendliness of the staff and location. 1 star still holds. there are lots of indoor golf simulators in the city. i would recommend all of them before i recommend x factor golf.

We had a great time and it was such a fun experience. I wasn’t sure I’d be a fan of virtual golf, but I am. The staff were wonderful and we were able to bring food in.
Stay away from this place! Booked 3 1/2 hours, was told when we were finishing up to not rush as no one was waiting for our booth. Finished up golf 5 minutes late, sat around for 15 more minutes finishing our drinks, and after checking receipt later we were charged for 4 1/2 hours of golf and also overcharged for a couple drinks. Reached out to the contact I was given (Jay) to try to make better and received no reply. There are many other golf simulator providers with integrity out there I would recommend instead of this place. I should also mention that their simulator technology/experience is far outdated as well.

Spent a couple of hours at XFactor yesterday while waiting for my windshield to be replaced. It was X-cellent (I couldn't resist). The staff member who set us up was knowledgeable and friendly and the SIM area we used was sanitized before we entered. It's a really fun way to spend a few hours, especially when it's too cold for outdoor activities.
Pricey but top notch. I booked an hour to do a yardage check on all my clubs by using the range feature. Great way to confirm your actual distance plus get some neat stats like spin and club speed.
Great simulators, great staff, and awesome place for friends, and kids with the individual sims locations. Bring my 4 kids all the time. highly recommend. Great they have TVs in each SIM and great seating. Good selection of courses also.

Awesome facility with even better staff. Christian and Jay do a fantastic job making everyone feel welcome and relaxed. Even went to a birthday party there where the whole place was rented out. One of the best parties I've been too hands down. Best french fries in town too!
Such a great place, get your own area with couches and such. They were really accommodating with setting our names up and food ahead of time, to save time on the simulators. Highly recommend!
This is a awesome place to go for simulator golf. Every simulator has it's own lounge area and t.v. so you can watch some sports while enjoying a round of golf. Not a lot of food selection (doesn't have a full kitchen) but they do offer pizza and snacks. Great place to work on your golf game during the dark winter months.
Fore Seasons Indoor Golf Centre – Grand Prairie
We hosted a small event for about 10 ladies at the Fore Seasons. The staff was easy to coordinate with and very helpful in setting up the SIMs/providing advice for newcomers. Additionally, we had brought in outside food and they went out of their way to help provide plates/tables for the setup. Highly recommend their venue for a fun activity-based event.

We booked our corporate Christmas party at Fore Seasons. It was great. We loved the facility - Having the back half to ourselves, with access to the bar was excellent. Brittney was great. Everyone had fun, and even as a non-golfer I am inspired to dust off my clubs and come visit another time. I would easily recommend others to book corporate parties at Fore Seasons.
Been coming to fore seasons for 2 years now, everytime is a wonderful experience full of laughs thanks to the entire staff. Definitely reccomend if you're looking for a golf experience in grande prairie.

We had our staff Christmas party here, all I got to say is; it was the FUNNEST Christmas party I've ever been to. Clay and a super nice gal (I did not catch her name) bartented and had super fun energy! Definitely will be back with friends.
Drop Zone Golf Centre – Lethbridge
Great way to spend a windy afternoon. The staff was very friendly and the golfing experience was very good.

With the change in weather conditions we were unable to golf outdoors but the experience at Drop Zone made our stay enjoyable.

What an incredible experience with something for every skill level. Booking was easy instructing and orientation was great . The friendliness assistance and options was more than I would have expected and now I can golf year round and even take lessons !!! Highly recommend for keeping game sharp group evens or team building . They even have leagues lessons and beverages. One down side parking lot is tight but there is road parking available .

Had a really enjoyable first experience. Staff was really helpful and the virtual golf was fun. I don't think the technology is perfect but it was certainly good enough for a solid golf experience. Getting to play PGA level courses in my own backyard is definitely cool. Totally recommend it.

Mike the owner has done a great job building a great environment with quality simulators. I was visiting from Calgary where I frequent the simulators there. These are by far the most accurate simulators with the highest quality imagery projectors. I recommend trying some the games beside the straight courses also. Good job Mike.
Metro Fairway Indoor Golfing – Calgary
Great hospitality. Food is typical pub style but their Asian cuisine is good. The golf simulators are have good maps and are ok but not state of the art by any means.
August 2024Went to Metro Fairway Indoor Golf for a friends’ engagement party. They were able to rent the entire location out for the event. It was fun. Never been to an indoor golf place before. They had lots of golfing stations and plenty of room for everyone to fit and walk around which was great considering how many people showed up.The location is very clean, and the staff were very friendly. I did not try the food but from what my friends said who did try the food, it was very good and tasted great. Wonderful service all around.

Metro took our U18 boys hockey team (all 19 of them and their coaches and parents) on a last minute notice due to a cancellation at the rec room. They gladly accommodated all of us and actually gifted the boys plates of fries! The price we were charged was extremely reasonable, the service was great and we all had a good time.
This place was so awesome for my son’s U18 hockey team! Such great value. The manager even got the kids complimentary french fries. Darts, basketball and fooseball. Highly recommend!!!!!
Very unorganized. I made a reservation thru Facebook for table and chair rental when I arrived business was closed waited when they showed up they didn’t have the required tables I reserved they told me they would deliver the rest before my event and the next day asked meTo pick up the table at a different location or I’d have to go without! We went here for new years eye and had a blast. They had multiple different games which catered to all of our friends in the group. Golf sims were alright, but the electronic darts and basket game were definitely the highlight of the night.

My boyfriend Phil and I are very competitive and like to do fun activities like golf and foosball. To my surprise Metro Fairway had both with an added bonus.... stellar food! They offer 2 types of food. pub grub and also authentic Vietnamese cuisine.The atmosphere is very alive yet cozy with tentative servers. We really appreciate the privacy of each golf simulator space while still being open enough to get a relaxed small pub feel. I will never forget trying out the 1664 beer recommended to us by the male server who needs to polish his foosball skills and help me beat Phil once and for all.We highly recommend this place. So noodle on down there and tell them Celeste sent you.

Came here with friends to play darts and it was an enjoyable experience. The games are $1 per person to play so not too bad. We played three games with four people for each game and it took about two hours. We brought our own darts but you can borrow some from the reception to play.I would be interested in trying the indoor golf next time. I heard they are pretty busy during the winter time and do more corporate events in the summer.

Such a fun and underrated place to go. The staff is always super friendly, generous, and helpful. I've been here 4 times and always had a blast. The simulator itself is pretty good (putting is pretty impossible but that's okay). Sometimes you'll get stuck underneath a tree and you can't see because the graphics of the branches cover the tree but it's pretty rare. Furthermore, they also have excellent fries.All in all, great place, highly recommend
Metrofairway was a good place to go and swing the clubs and get some rust out. The smell from the kitchen smelled really good! What we ordered tasted good although the salt and pepper flavour was more like a plain flavour. Removing a star for that because honestly wings and ribs are a staple and should be treated as such.Happy that the simulator didn't error and lots of courses to choose from. Atmosphere was casual and enjoyable. Whatever you do don't let your friends see you in jeans apparently you can't play a golf simulator in jeans? ... Who knew ?Prices are very reasonable and the beer was cold. Would return for sure and a bday or other even would be great there too because they've got some hoop shooting and dart when you get tired of swinging the club and getting nowhere.
Fun place to golf and hangout in the off season. They have other games and lots of TVs for sporting events.

If you enjoy walking by a river path, this is one of the nice places to do it. Calm and peaceful. You can either choose the paved path or be a bit more adventurous and get closer to the river.
What a great place! First time coming by and the atmosphere is so calming and relaxing! You can get your own private simulation; staff are extremely helpful and fun! Perfect place to enjoy some golfing, range and putting in a great setting!

I golf at Riverside weekly and love it every time. The staff is very friendly and unfailingly helpful. The drinks service is excellent. Love the course selections too.
I came here for virtual golf... Step back in time and prepare to be frustrated by some pretty mediocre virtual golf in the dark. Don't worry though, you can wash away your bad shots with warm beer or a can of Molson's finest. I could see this place being good for winter practice; especially if you live nearby. This place needs an update.

Love this place! Here for the first time today for something to do on a cold afternoon, and spent a relaxing hour or so hitting balls on the range and putting on the green. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and very affordable at $12 for a large bucket of balls and free putting. Next time I’ll stay for some food and beer, and the people playing on simulators looked like they were having a great time!
Riverside is a great indoor golf facility. They are constantly adding equipment and improving the facility while maintaining competitive rates. The staff is friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next trip there

Perfect Golf Range – Edmonton
This was my first experience at a golf simulator, and Perfect Golf Range & Karaoke exceeded all expectations. Martin, the owner, was a true gentleman. He took the time to show me how everything worked and made sure I felt comfortable. I ended up spending about seven hours there, and every time I had a question—big or small—Martin was there to help. He even gave me a great deal and let me have the room to myself, which was perfect for focusing on my game. The hospitality was outstanding, and I truly appreciate everything Martin did to make my experience memorable.
We had a blast here the other weekend. The owner was really good to us, will come back next time we are in town.

Very rude customer service. They state they are open till 12 am on Google and on there sign inside. We arrived at 9:27 for virtual golf and the Asian guy at the front was very rude when we came In. Saying. We close at 10 we close at 10. Then points to the sign of there hours and say can’t u see the sign when the sign clearly says 12 am on Saturdays. My first time going there and never going back .
I'm sure it would be nice but asked i if it would be a nice place for beginners and the employee tells me I'm better off getting a trainer. I would of preferred encouragement for golf but thats not what you should expect here so only go here if you have experience no noobs allowed he claims it will waste your time and money

They charge per round not per hour which is awesome. The simulators are very accurate and play pretty true to how I golf outdoors. They have private rooms and common area screens if you want to do a range session. Great ownership and the staff is super friendly.

What a pleasure to golf at this facility! The people are incredibly nice. They make you feel like you are truly welcome. The sims are super high tech and just make it very easy to just relax and play some golf! As with any simulator, you have to get used to the putting and chipping a bit, but the driving and iron play is remarkably accurate. Great way to spend a cold winter afternoon.

I can honestly say this is one of the premier indoor golf ranges and virtual golf places in all of Edmonton. Equipment is brand new and high quality. The hitting surfaces are pristine and well kept. The virtual golf technology are all top models and updated. The place is VERY clean all the time. The family who runs it are exceptional. They are friendly and always remember your name. Hands down will support this family run business all winter long.
This place is so clean and spacious. We went here with my 1 year old daughter. It is family friendly before 9pm. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.We tried the driving range golf simulator and it was so nice to have cameras showing you your swing from a few different angles so that you can improve your game. Prices are super reasonable for the virtual golf compared to other places in Edmonton and hours are great.We ordered the Korean fried chicken (half order) and portion was very generous and absolutely delicious. My husband and I will definitely be coming back.
Evolution Golf – Edmonton
Booked 2 rooms, friends couldn’t attend so we cancelled the second room 3 hours in advance. They did not let me leave without paying for both rooms, despite me letting them know far in advance. They filled the second room, and still charged me for it. I can’t believe this!!!!
My buddy’s garage sim has a better sim program. Failed to track many balls, greens were sticky, fairway and rough played the same. If you’re running a business, keep your software updated. Not worth the money

Thats wayyyy to pricey to rent a set of clubs for an hour. Nobody charges that much to rent a set of clubs at a simulator.I guess I need to get myself my own clubs.

Inaccurate ball tracking. Beauty drives registering anywhere between 3 and 20 yards. Had to switch to just playing games like darts golf. Nice private rooms. If they can just adjust the accuracy, it would be way better
2-3 times now someone had brought their baby in. Very irritating when trying to golf. Screeching baby throws me right off. Should not allow young babies in like that. This is always on a Sunday evening.

I enjoy catching a round of golf during the winter months. Certainly one doesn't get the smell of fresh cut grass, feel a breeze or feel rain drops (if you do, vacate the premises immediately cuz the sprinkler system kicked in) but you will get to swing your clubs. The staff are excellent, the facility very clean. Parking is reasonably good unlike their Southside facility. The only complaint I have are the screens. After receiving repeated hits, they start to sag. It would be great if they replaced them sooner rather than later. I am told they are expensive but... Overall, a great way to spend a few hours.
I Booked a time 6 days ahead via phone and showed up with guest who even rescheduled their work day to find out that they had no booking under my name, and there were no available spots. No sorry no nothing. We didn’t take it out on the staff as they appeared too young to be in charge. But I’m quite sure we won’t be back. Parking sucks as well.
Wasn't impressed. The golf balls were worn out so the sim was very inaccurate at times. Also got attitude by the staff so I won't be back.
To say it's any different or better than another virtual golf place would likely be over selling it. But its clean and well taken care of (it's a fairly new location I think). Food, drinks and your own private room to make a little noise. It's cool. I'd go again.

It's a great place to come during the winter and keep put your golf game. Prices and reasonable and staff are friendly. The critique is the simulators seem graphically updated and the golf ball detector can be finicky. The UI has been updated recently which is beneficial but the course graphics remain the same.
We booked a room for last night (Friday) earlier in the week. We provided the information needed to confirm the booking and I even confirmed the location to ensure i was booked at the North one. The receptionist confirmed the date, time and location for me. Fast forward to Friday evening when my 11 year old son (who was extremely excited about this and had been looking forward to it) and I show up and they cannot find out reservation. The front staff did not offer any help or compensation of any kind and just pushed back stating there was nothing they could do. He did not bother to call his manager despite me repeatedly asking for it nor did he offer any level of any solution. The customer service was literally some of the worst I have ever experienced. Needless to say, we left with nothing and my son was heartbroken. After making a bunch of phone calls to their competitors, Longshotz on Stony Plain Road was able to accommodate us. That experience was night and day. That facility was new, clean, had state of the art tech and had a full kitchen with amazing food. Their customer service was above and beyond and they completely took care of my son and I. I had asked for a call back from Evolution's manager and even as I write this, I have not received anything. Don't give these guys your money - go somewhere like Longshotz who actually cares about people.

Really good place! I had a rough first experience, but decided to give it another shot due to proximity to my home. They made up for the first time, and did it in spades! Super great service, and a free hour of golf to make up for the first time! Really clean facility with nice private rooms. Top-notch service the second time out. I hope that my first experience was a one-off. Kudos to the server who quarterbacked my second time out!
Evolution Golf – Sherwood Park
I like the room set up. It's fun. The only thing is the tech is a little older compared to the newer systems out there

Good simulator and my gf and i had a very nice host! It's more accurate than most i have tried around Edmonton and the surrounding area. One recommendation would be to have more snacks available for those long sessions and add more golf courses to sims (Pinehurst no. 2, Pebble Beach)!Edit* they replied and said they have all the above what a great facility !

Booked an hour and a half as a solo player and had plenty of time to warm up on the range and play 18 holes. Nice facility, clean with friendly and helpful staff. Loved that they are private rooms and not open bays which is awesome. Will definitely be back soon!
Sims are great. Facility is in good shape. I love the private rooms compared to lots of places with open bar style sims. And the staff is always good.
This place is fantastic with the best workers to serve you and assist you with whatever you need. Your own private room with lots of courses to choose from, great food and drinks at a fair price? How can ya complain!
Wouldn’t go back.Love that the rooms are private! That is the only reason for the 2 stars.Otherwise, we were not impressed and just felt like our money was wasted here.Menu was meh and some drinks on it were unavailable when we tried ordering them.I don’t know what was wrong with the simulator in our room but it just wasn’t working properly for us.While putting we had constant problems with the simulator not reading our shots so we were constantly wasting our time redoing our putts over and over which in turn got us super frustrated by the end of our time. My husband who shoots left had the hardest time with this happening on his shots. It would be green and reading him until he lifted the club to putt and it would go red and not read his shot.We did end up asking the worker after a while. He said he could restart our system if it keeps up and to have the ball in line with where the tee hole is… that did not help at all either. So we continued, getting more and more frustrated every time we needed to putt. We were over half way through now and just wanted to ask to switch rooms (husband was here before and never had this problem in a different room) but we tried getting a restart of the system instead. Didn’t help. So we reluctantly continued the last bit of time we had left. Maybe like 10 or so minutes before our time is up we notice a paper on the wall saying to putt the ball well INFRONT of the tee hole…We barely had time to even test this out before we had to leave so Im not sure if knowing that would have even made a difference with the simulator reading us better. But this made us even more upset because that isn’t what the worker said to do (Do the people that work here not know how these things work??)and like I said, my husband had no problems putting in a different room when he came earlier in the year with friends.Anyways, frustrating to say the least as we wasted so much time re doing our shots constantly and trying to get the worker to help us. We were not offered any sort of compensation or anything for our 2 hours of aggravation. There are way better indoor golf spots in sherwood park we definitely won’t be back.
Been to many virtual golf centers, Evolutions been the best thus far. Pricey as they all are but top notch.

Booked a room for a bday 5 days in advance. Show up to enjoy a fun night, to find out it was booked for the morning. I called two days prior to double check. Very poor scheduling.
It is an awesome indoor simulator. They have a couple of rooms for good prices. They have lots of food and drink items and its noce and clean.
Would love to tell you how great this place is but I can’t because I left a message to see if I could book and never got a call back. Even a call saying we are not taking any appts. Tried the online booking was confusing. A call back would have been nice.

Joined the Winter league last year and it was great. Came back for the Fall League with a group of friends. We have different schedules and the league is flexible so we never have to miss a game. A couple friends play at different locations but the league is across all three so we can still compete.
I had the opportunity recently to try Evolution Golf’s newest location in Sherwood Park. Very nice facility overall with clean, private rooms. The staff were attentive and friendly, but the golf experience was fantastic! Very realistic outcomes to great swings (and bad)! The one thing that I have to mention is that I needed an extra 5 minutes to finish my round (my buddies were hacking it up 🙂 ) and the staff were very accommodating as there was no booking right after us.Overall 2 thumbs up!!
We booked 3 hours for a group of 4 knowing if we played quickly we should finish. Well our screen glitched and we needed an employee to reset it... no big deal right? Well when resetting the game he shortened our clock by about 5 minutes (plus took a few minutes to reset the game). When the game timed out we had one hole to play and were still within out 3 hour time slot (it was roughly 5 to 3pm and we booked noon to 3). The employee working the front desk refused to add the 5 minutes back on as "people were waiting for our room"... Is asking for the time we paid for unreasonable?! We literally had one hole to play!! Also she seemed bothered with any requests like ordering food and drinks, like we were inconveniencing her. The only way we were served was to walk to the front desk. I'm sure this place would make a ton more on food and drink sales if they actually checked in on the groups.The room and simulator were nice, which is the only reason this is two stars not one.Edit: To the reply from the owner, I was at the front desk at 2:56pm with the screen already timed out asking for the extension. We were told there was a group waiting for the room. Any reasonable golfer would understand waiting for a group to quickly finish their last hole. Either way I will more then likely choose a different spot for virtual golf in the future
Have been to the South Side location. I do like the Sherwood Park location. Rooms are large enough for 2 not sure about 4. My only issues are no fans to move air in the room and the computer monitor is very small for my old eyes. Friendly staff and easy to book. I will be there weekly till the courses open.
The simulator itself is amazing. Very accurate. We spent most of our time hitting range shots. We played 5 holes on an easy course.I know they just opened so take these comments with an air of I'm sure they'll do better.Very limited menu. We ordered coffee and they had no sugar. The attendent didn't show us how to use the software, we figured it out on our own.Overall Sharri and I really enjoyed it. We'll go back to practice our swing.
Golfzone – Red Deer
The food was excellent and the staff was nice until.. We cut our time short due to being very discouraged by the accuracy of the simulator. I am an experienced golfer and I don’t drive the ball straight in the ground 50 yards as this is what the simulator was “simulating”. We were charged an extra half hour (we did book 2) which I understand. I’ve been here many times so I thought by the inconvenience, inaccuracy of the machine and discouragement they would have just charged us the 1 hour and 4 minutes that we were there, maybe they’d just charge us an hour to keep me coming back thinking this was just a one off. They most certainly did not do that and I won’t be back and I will encourage my group to book elsewhere from now on.
Love coming here with friends. Has awesome platform that moves under you depending on terain.
I'm not a golfer, but I still had a great time with some friends. They source their food from a restaurant downstairs so it is excellent!! Great chicken sandwich and charcuterie board

I came into golf zone as a very inexperienced golfer with no golf experience and Brenda showed us the ropes second to none experience!
I really enjoy playing here. Staff are friendly and attentive. The sim experience is one of the best I've had from the moving platforms (they tilt to match course slope) to the swing videos you receive in the app.
Overall fantastic place, the owners are amazing and have chatted with them many times while there. Last visit was a little disappointing as the server refused to let us finish our round. I understand our time was up but there wasn't anyone waiting and we were in the middle of the 18th fairway, other servers have allowed us to finish up in the past but she turned off our simulator and told us our time was done. I will still go back but that last 2 minutes of our time left a sour taste.
I will not be back. Only one staff member who was overwhelmed with the amount of people trying to golf (she was trying). Took 30 minutes to get a beer. Finally some new staff came in and things seemed to settle down. Then they wouldn't honor the senior pricing because I was not a senior (I was with my dad). Interesting. It's the whole reason we were playing golf on a Wednesday afternoon. So, bad and expensive experience. Went to the other golf place on the north end and had a much better time.
Best virtual golf game I’ve ever had. Our server Shannon was on point. Never had to wait for a drink and any questions during the game were answered quickly.Had a blast, we will be back for sure !!
I've been to Golf Zone several times and it never disappoints. The staff are always incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food and drink options are awesome and the technology, space and environment is always A+. The price is a great value too. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Great atmosphere. Sydney was amazing and super friendly. I've never done an indoor simulator and she helped explain it all, let me test it out for a couple minutes on the range before getting me set up to play. Would definitely come back here again.

GolfZone hosted our party for us! Our son getting married next week, we gathered the guys to bond, celebrate and have some fun. Our hostess Pam was amazing! She kept us snacking and the drinks filled. All the while helping us navigate the virtual course. She was gracious, attentive and everyone said they want to come back!GolfZone was the perfect venue and activity! The group was able to visit, bond, and have fun - and stay together as a group.
I stopped in here for a quick hour a week or so and had a blast with my friends. The owners were there and they were absolutely awesome. They seem to be running a great business!

Would be awesome to have more local courses to play virtually but still great selection. Was slightly disappointed trying to bring my handicapped mother to watch and enjoy with family and myself. Unfortunately NOT handicap accessible and only way to Golfzone is about 28-30 stairs.
Very cool facility. Has all of latest in simulator technology, tilt deck, automatic tees and a replay camera for when you are on the range so you can see how awkward looking your awing is. On top of that the owners are very cool! Will return!
We were with our 9 month old son who got bored and fussy halfway through our time slot. We were trying to take turns golfing and dealing with the baby, the lady working there came to the rescue! She held him and played with him while we finished our game. The food and drinks were great and it was a fantastic experience. Will definitely be back!
We called up the owner , booked the vip suite and that was it , we had a truly great post covid experience ! We had a base crew of 4 and had 4 friends cycle through the 5 hours we rented it for . Endless jugs of beer / tried every appetizer (all were yummy) . Seamless, endless fun! Highly recommend . Driver take home at the end , made the perfect evening seeing long lost friends ! Thank you Golf zone ! we will see you soon !

Played at golf zone a few times now. This place is great. Staff is friendly and organized. Simulators are accurate (They pick up my snap hook ?). Place is neat and clean. Overall an enjoyable experience every time that I’ve been.
If you're new and plan on going often ask for the swipe card for the golfzon app before you start. Also keep in mind they want you out 5min before your time is up. We started 10min late (arrived 15min early) and was asked to wrap it up. So lost 15min of time we thought we had. Understandable, but just something to be aware of. The ladies that work there were awesome. The fella at the end just expected us to have all read the website and was upset when we didn't realize what time it was.Food was good, drinks were good, nice atmosphere, we will be back for sure.
After a delicious breakfast downstairs at the Hash Breakfast Eatery, my friend and I headed upstairs to try out Golfzone. We were thoroughly impressed with how welcoming and knowledgeable the staff were. We were made to feel right at home . . . and have joined the Senior Golf League as a result!
The Golf Den Lounge – Sherwood Park
Excellent facility!! The imaging and sensors function incredibly well. The premises are maintained in a very neat condition. Excellent rates also for private rooms. The balls are automatically placed on the tee for you, which is an excellent feature. You can choose to order pizza 73, and have it delivered directly to your room. Beverages are self-serve, and you only settle the bill at the end. It's pretty pleasant since you don't need to wait for servers to deliver drinks. The man who was working was quite nice! I strongly endorse this facility and I will certainly come back! Preferred spot for golfing during the winter.Arrive ahead of time because the parking lot was quite crowded, and we had to walk across the entire lot to locate a space

After a disappointing experience at the old sawmill (now some drunk shots golf) I am pleased to say this is a far better option then the new guy In town. Is it true he was an owner here at one point. Glad you got rid of him. He brought this place down.

Absolutely great service, and if you love Cesar's this place has a great garlic Cesar. I was a bit disappointed in their menu selection though and wish they had a bit more variety. But all in all we had a blast playing virtual golf.
Can't really call this an "eatery" as at least half of the menu items aren't available in peak virtual golfing season. The three stars is for the simulation quality, which I believe to be very good. Unfortunately there is a lost star for the food, and 3 out of 4 times I have been there the staff seem disinterested at best. And the simulation rooms/washrooms are freezing cold. Mind you -30 degrees at time of review. But does the heat not work at all? I will return, but definitely some areas to work on.
Wade and his team have been very nice to me. I received some good lessons, and have had some fun playing golf with friends and in the off-season leagues. The recent upgrades have opened up the place and gave the place a nice vibe.
Machines were good but service was BRUTAL. Had to chase our "server" for drinks and then she decided how we would redeem a gift card and gave one of our group a random charge when we checked out. Too bad, you would think in today's economy that's a business would try to retain customers instead of blowing them out.
The Golf Den Lounge is a let down for virtual golf. The staff are all friendly and nice. The facilities have been upgraded with dedicated rooms. But the food is Pretty bad as well. the software and implementation is quite poor. The projection is behind you so there is always your shadow on the screen. The shots do not register half the time either. There are much better options out there .

Great place to play some good golf 👍Simulation platform moves to different angles to mimic real life turf, they have good rentals if you don’t want to haul your own clubs, and they have a large bar area w/ a variety of drinks. They also have drink specials for different days.Highly recommend checking this place out. I know I’ll be back forsure 😬Shout out to Zack and Joel for the hospitality.P.S. They allow outside food. We ordered taco time from ubereats 🙊

Great vibes and a great craft beer offering with 6 local brews on tap. The premium 3 screen sim is the way to go for larger groups or to catch all the action. Sims are realistic and the tilting platforms are a nice addition. The place itself is very clean and a well run establishment. I’ll definitely be signing up for their upcoming league nights.

If I were able to give Rad Golf more stars I would. Best customer service I have ever experienced. Jason is incredibly accommodating and amazing at what he does. This was the first time I had ever been here and had an awesome time. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of golf and looking for a fun time, especially in this freezing weather.

By far the best Golf Simulators (in my opinion) in the city. Highly recommended place to play. Great new venue with lots of room together with friendly staff members. Jason took good care of me and my friends. The high tech golf simulators had adjustable tilt angles for a real life feel when addressing the ball. It definitely felt good to swing my clubs even in the winter. We'll be back for sure!
Calgary's newest golf simulator impressively lives up to the hype. The auto-tilting plate adjusts according to your lie with accuracy, and the triple screen setup produces a premium experience.Good food, cold beer and knowledgeable staff who are extremely accommodating. Sportech Indoor Golf – Calgary
Been going here for a while and never had an issue. This last time our booking ended an 9, and we were in the lobby paying our bills at 9:02. We were charged an additional $10 for a “10 minute surcharge” and the person working did not provide any explanation. Unfortunately probably won’t be going back again as there are plenty of options for Sims in Calgary that are all happy for my business.
Love this place! The staff are always super courteous and pleasant, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the simulator itself is awesome. No complaints!
This place just reopened with a great renovation! It’s super clean, and you can connect your own music via Bluetooth. I had an amazing time with my friends 🙂 Definitely worth a visit!

Reviewing on behalf of my bf. I booked him in to play solo this past weekend. He enjoyed it but he wasn’t impressed with the fact that it took over 10 minutes for them to set things up and that was included in his time. He's been to other golf sims and the time doesn’t start till he begins playing.
🏌♀️Highly Recommend ⛳️Location: Sportech 10th Ave Sw, Calgary AB.SIM has a variety of courses and settings to suit any level of golfer. Facility and SIM Room is very well maintained and well lit with plenty of golf balls for each SIM Room. Plenty of parking on 10th Avenue with a few spots available in outdoor parking lot directly east of building. Staff are always super friendly and prices are super reasonable off-peak hours.
Room 3 needs some maintenance. Carpet was coming apart and ruined the putting experience . Was in room 4 before and it was fine.
Simulator continually misread. Booth we were in was super small, only two stools to sit on. Girl was not super familiar with software. They overcharged us, didn’t tell us they started the timer the moment we stepped in the booth. They allowed us to warm up without knowing the timer started. Even though we didn’t start a round yet. Won’t be coming back.
Great place to keep practicing your swing when the weather shuts you in, or if you want to get better at it by using their simulation system.

Feb n place to go with friends or family. Went with kids to try out and was great in the current omicron climate and limited outings opportunities. $45 /hr Not enough for a full game but enough for good practice of any level.
I play here a couple times a month throughout the winter to keep my game as bad as it normally is when I play in the summer. You can choose from over 100 different courses around the world. I've played rounds that the golf tours have played and it's been a lot of fun. Shot tracking for distance is pretty good and it's fairly accurate to my actual swing. I really enjoy this place it's a good time
This simulator seems very advanced. The different 'grass' lengths are great.The Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Golf simulator was really good and even adjusted the turf depth to simulate fairway, rough or sand shots. Private rooms and ability to order beers made for more fun. Highly recommend.
Clean facilities, friendly staff solid beer selection (they use insulated growlers instead of pitchers which is amazing)I'd rather be golfing outside but its winter so it scratches the golfing itch. Tech used in the simulator seems solid. Our auto ball feeder for teeing up got stuck a couple times, frustrating but not ruin the night.
Simulator is the best I've ever played. Private rooms, clean, good service.Beer is good, food menu is severely lacking but they let us order in food from outside. Recommend bringing a Bluetooth speaker with your group to liven it up a bit.
Best quality simulators in Calgary, huge list of courses. Turf automatically adjusts to fairway, rough, and sand trap lies. The automatic ball tee-up works well and balls drain into a trench for collection. Good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. Would be a great location for team building events or a night out with friends. I would recommend the medium or large room to provide more seating area and space to view for a group of 4 or more.
UDR Indoor Golf – Royal Oak – Calgary
Love this place. We hit open Bay 6 today. I was a little worried about playing in an open bay, but we were pretty secluded. I love the spinning turf for fairway, rough and sand. This place is great value.
Fun golf sim with great course selection, and the variable turf is really good. Screens are bright and the private rooms are cost. Good drink prices too
First off, the service is top notch here. The guy behind the counter when we were there Saturday afternoon knows what's he's doing. He's also very helpful.This is the second simulator that I've used and while I'm not speaking from experience, it felt very advanced. There was no noticeable lag and picked up every shot in every direction I hit. It was also really cool to have a live replay of my shots from a couple angles - very helpful for improving my technique.We played in room 1 and it had a lot of space. You could easily have at least 4 people play in the room. It was nice to have seats as well. The room had bare walls though, so could benefit from a couple paintings just to liven up the space.We didn't take any drinks or food but was nice to see there's a lot of drink options on site and seemed very easy to order in.

The BEST place for sim golf in Calgary/Area. The minute we arrive we are greeted by name by Sonny and his partner. They are the best hosts we've had playing most simulators in the city. The staff are accommodating, cheerful, funny and super attentive. We've been going to URD since its opened and will continue to use the service because of the staff and how amazing the facility is. Truly top notch!As for the golf experience, its the most realistic we've played and super accurate. Way to go UDR team!
I've been going to UDR weekly for the last few months and not only is the simulator amazing but the staff are top notch. I've been to a few simulators and the tech is great in all of them, but this one has rotating lies for the rough and sand which is a great way to approach sim golf instead of just a power reduction. Based on where your ball lands you actually have to compensate by hitting off a a different surface which is the best way to do it that I've experienced. There is also front and back cameras that record each swing which are great for making tweaks to your swing. But what really separates UDR apart is the staff, everyone who works there is a great person and the lead guy Sonny is just top notch. So considerate, he goes out of his way to remember names and makes you feel at home when you're there. It really is the best sim in the city. He immediately jumps on problems if any arise (which they almost never do) and always solves any concerns as quickly as possible. I really can't say enough good things.

Sonny is a great host and makes sure you have everything you need.The turf selector/ ball loader was having some trouble and needed to fiddle with it a few times (usually when hitting hard off the tee).Having the rough and fair way different turfs was nice and the software was smooth and responsive, not many misreads.Highly recommend if you are in the area. The price was reasonable for the experience.
Had a great time at UDR! As others have mentioned, the facility is great. The automated green switching and video recording of your swing is such a nice touch! The staff is incredibly friendly and along with the affordable rate, this has become my favourite simulator in the city!
Facility is the best that I’ve seen and the system is really accurate.. maybe too realistic
Had a great experience here. Hard to get out and golf on a course with a 2 year old but this makes it easy to atleast practice.We booked 2 hours but due to a meltdown left within the first and they only charged us one. Staff was super nice and did a good job explaining the simulator and how to use it.

I have tried many golf sims around Calgary and this has been a favourite so far. It’s accurate and we liked the software here the best! It has 3 different grass modes (fairway, rough and sand). The space was also very clean.

UDR is a great simulator experience. The service is impeccable that makes me want to come back every time. If you’re looking for a good simulator in Calgary this is the place to go. Also the technology helps make the experience.
Havent made it out to play golf much in the past few years but this place has made it possible not only for me to play again but for my friends to learn and practice our game. The facility is wonderful and the staff so welcoming and helpful. A great place to go if you're missing the game during the winter especially!
My partner and I have been coming here to practice our swings and have just have some fun. It is a great environment, accurate SIM, the staff are SO nice and accommodating. They offer complimentary chips and salsa if you order two beverages (alcoholic in our case). The service here keeps us coming back!
Love this place!! Great value for a golf simulator and solid technology. The price for drinks is very fair and they allow you (and encourage) to order food from outside so we got pizzas from Uber eats. Friendly staff and they make sure you are well taken care of. I’ll be back here lots this winter!

Can’t go wrong with the simulator for $45/hr. We were in room 4 which is a private room and a great set up. We were in during Monday night football, and they have a TV that you can throw the game on which is great. Good selection of drinks and snacks as well! Highly recommend!

$45 an hour for this High Tech fancy Golf Sim is a fantastic deal played 18 holes with my son on a Monday afternoon cost $38 each . Floor hitting surface rotates like a turret , simulation of fairway , sand , and rough to hit off . Auto ball on tee up through floor ,& tee height adjust . Tech is amazing, very unforgiving compared to older golf sim machines . Great analysis of every shot . Online reservation is well put together .
Good experience. The screen is big and plenty of golf courses to select. I didn't recognize most of the courses but that's not that big of a deal. The service was overall good and it's cool that you can bring your own food for your event.The different terrain is interesting! it was very amusing when our friends ended up in the sand as the mat changes to a slightly softer turf.Thanks for the experience UDR

Four of us have been coming here every second week since opening. The owner is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The private rooms are great and the simulators offer many options from beginning to pro. Have always completely enjoyed our time.
Simulator was very inconsistent compared to others. Golf balls were always jamming in the popup tee, making it not work. Also golf balls provided were absolute garbage. Pulled out a few cracked balls. Also all the balls were very dirty... Which will make the screen material turn brown too. Maybe replace the balls once in a while.Courses were quite cartoon like, not real life courses.I'll be going to a different indoor sim in the future. This place would be good for people who don't really take golf too seriously and want good feedback on data etc.
Simulator was inconsistent to say the least, but that’s the least of my concerns. The golf balls they provide are absolute trash and I’m 100% convinced they paint them. My clubs are covered in white paint, including a brand new Stealth 3 wood that had never been hit before going there.The recycle bin in the room was jammed packed with empty beer cans. Which I highly doubt were recently drank since it was noon on a Sunday.The room was nice a big tho I have to say. Could easily have 4 ppl in there and be comfortable and safe of swinging clubs
Great indoor golf sim, pretty accurate, has rotating turf, beer is available, and you can order in. What else can you ask for?
Really nice clean space, nice staff. Private rooms with couches and the ability to watch a show or music on the tv while playing. Will be back for sure.
Sent my kids to play there. They enjoyed it but I'm put off by the fact that you have a "tip" option for paying for the simulator. Of course my kids have been taught to tip so congratulations, you took 15 bucks from a couple of kids. Poor form. Edit: can't believe you are trying to justify your stance especially as the owner. Dropped to one star.

Really enjoy this place, they have alot of simulators, have a cool hitting matt system. Automatically changes for your lie, example rough, sand, fairway. Balls automatically tee themselves definitely want to go back
Been coming here since their grand opening. I've tried other indoor golf simulators over the years and none of them compare. The place is clean, and has good lighting. On top of that, comparing it to other simulators, the place has a great setup with the auto tee, and the terrain changes according to where your ball lands.Love coming here, the manager/front staff member Ho is a great guy and is very inviting.
I've tried a few simulators around the city and this place feels like it has one of the most accurate sensors I've hit with so far. Numbers and ball flights were what I would expect if I was on a real course/range. Their ball setup machine is quite fancy and reliable, never had to wait for it to recognize when a ball was on the mat. Also recognized every shot (good and bad), never had to re-hit due to a shot not registering! Will be back in the future!
Amazing place for a virtual golf experience! The owner is super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are the perfect size with a good variety of courses, and the technology used seems really accurate. I have tried alone, with a duo, and with a group, always a great time. Highly recommended!
If you want most new and accurate screen golf then UDR is it. I tried few and this place is most accurate. My driver always slices in driving range and same results in screen golf. After practicing here I finally fixed that. Place is very spacious and clean. And golf course selections are massive. I tried easy ones to PGA tournament courses which were very difficult. Anyhow I highly recommend this place.

Great tech, excellent service, and the bays are spacious and well automated. Snacks and drinks (including alcohol) are available on site. If it was a tad more affordable, I’d be visiting on the regular.

I really enjoyed the place. Private rooms, the awesome self serve coolers and friendly staff. Great place. The mats were in good shape. Though they didn't have the multi surface, they do have new touch screen monitors. Great place to beat the heat. Super happy!
A little pricy given the summer prices of other places but everything works great and the food is fine from the pizza place next door.The private rooms are nice, great for little outings.Service is 10/10 they made a newcomer feel very welcome.Only thing holding it back from being a 10/10 is the position of the launch monitor feels like it sits right in shank territory which makes me uneasy as other places have overhead sensors.So for a $5 more per hour then other places along with the launch monitor placement it's just a hair away from 5/5
We just went to golfzon south, we were given amazing service and privacy in our room. Owner or manager was very attentive and assisted us with any questions we had. Wanted an extra hour and he was very accommodating. I would def recommend to anyone wanting to try virtual golf.
Just started learning how to golf and I love this place as an alternative to the range in the winter! Private rooms make it comfortable for new players to practice their swing. Fun mini games and warm ups. Amazing staff that are very polite and even gave use a holiday discount which was awesome! Only thing I think it could improve on would be having a bit more space (which is out of their control due to building size) but others may like that it is a bit smaller.
What a fun spot! I met up with some friends on weekend to hit some balls and have some pizza. They have great beers on tap and a very extensive menu. Will definitely be back!

Rooms are clean and spacious, the machines are accurate, and the automatic tee up system saved a lot of time! The owner was very nice and showed me how the machines work since it was my first time. He said that have over 200 courses to play as well, definitely will check out this place again!
Golfzon South is one of the best places to take golf lessons if you're looking to get started or improve. My two sons, who have entirely different physiques and styles, are taking lessons from Zeno. Zeno's teaching and coaching style is faithful to the basics while providing lesson plans suited to each individual's style, making them very happy and satisfied. Additionally, Zeno's lessons, which have an entertaining aspect, are another pleasure. The comfortable and clean golf rooms are perfect for enjoying with family or friends.
Great simulators and atmosphere. Staff is super helpful and nice. Prices are excellent. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who wants to play indoor golf. It's not like an outdoor course, but it's really close. And you have a comfortable private area, and can get through a round a lot faster than when you have to hunt for your ball and such. Numerous options for food and beverages, great overall experience. Staff is 10/10. Knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating.

I’ll start off with the good and the only reason this place is getting three stars. The staff was super friendly and the facility was great. They had some good drinks and food and a menu which was nice. But holy moly, if that’s want the worst sim I have ever used. The putting didn’t work, it would randomly say you hit the ball 4 yards after you hit the drive of your life. The interface was really annoying to use and the room didn’t have auto tee balls. They only give you 4 balls so you’re constantly chasing the balls around and you have to bring your own tees. Not to mention the sim is really immaculate as well. I’ll flush a shot with my 9 and have it go 120 yards. For referance I usually hit my 9 like 155. If you’re looking to go causally and you’re new to golf it’s probably not that bad. But if you are relatively good at golf and you want somewhere to go play normally, this is not the spot.
My friend and I have been coming here all winter and it has been very fun. They have separate rooms for each simulator so it feels more private and if I hit a bad shot no one can see! I have not had a bad experience here and they always take care of me. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking to have fun golfing.

The staff explained how to set everything up and how Golfzon system worked. Each room has its own private TV for watching Golf and Hockey. Perfect spot to get your golf skills no matter the weather. Came here after being recommended by my friend. I used to frequent other indoor Golf simulators but Golfzon South is my new home. High quality of Golfzon equipment and relaxed vibe with Food&beer. Zeno is an excellent lesson teacher. He is a top notch coach who really understands any golfer's perspective on trying to get better. It's a really great place to work on your golf skills with replay system or if you just wanna have some fun with friends. Definitely will be back!
This is an awesome place for playing indoor golf. Fun activity with great simulator, private rooms and convenient location. The staff were incredibly helpful in showing us how to use the simulator. The best "virtual golf" place to spend great time with friends or family. My family doesn't golf often, but we played some music on the speakers and enjoyed our swing in private room. Super friendly staff, good selection of beer and Food, perfect simulator and All season golfing. 5star all around.
Best indoor golf I have experienced. Great simulator and choice of drinks&Food. They also have high quality of lesson programs as well. Love that the golf ball is automatically presented to you on setup. They explained how the golf system worked. Great customer service. I will swing clubs here as often as I can. 10 out of 10

Just had a great time here. Place looks great after the Reno. Just went by myself this time. Had 15 min of range time and 18 holes took 45 mins. Was way cheaper than I thought it’d be. I’m still terrible at golf but at least I didn’t have to chase my awful shots!

Loved this place! The staff were friendly and patient as it was our first time there and made the experience the seamless. The simulator wae definitely one of the more hi-tech ones I've used and definitely helped filled the void that is Edmonton winters. Will be coming back again!
