Went for a creative business meeting on October 8th.***Review score regarding Mini Golf exp***The Good.Staff are excellent. Nice, helpful and cheerful.Environment is good. There’s plenty to do to have fun for all ages.I’ve been to the Golf Dome countless times and overall have had a good experience(s)The Bad.Disgusting, Dilapidated, Dated and Dangerous. It’s in worse condition than most outdoor mini golf courses.Disgusting: the putters are just filthy and leave you feeling gross. After a full round, your hands are left black and sticky. The rubber of the grips has deteriorated and should have been replaced years ago.Dilapidated: The course is in really, really poor condition. Every hole has problems.- walls/bumpers detached.- grass matting is well worn down and out. With holes in some areas.- the flags on some holes are falling over/out.- broken/missing features.Dated/Dangerous: Needs updating. It looks and feels old. The ergonomics and accessibility of the course are poorly thought out and nonexistent. People with poor mobility cannot traverse the course safely. Older folks, people requiring walking aides, etc. There’s rocks everywhere. You’re either standing on the course green or on rocky uneven ground.
Did the driving today range for half an hour, spot 32, was gonna get a second spot and order some food but the girls behind the counter were so amazingly rude I decided to just leave and eat somewhere else. Nice enough place but WOW were those girls ever rude. Not the type of employees I would be comfortable leaving my business in the hands of. Literally laughing at me and pointing because I couldn't hear them behind the glass. Then when paying the girl slammed the debit machine on the counter and immediately turned away, no thank you for coming, no smile, no look in my direction at all. So uncomfortable and rude wow I'm actually just blown away.
Very nice facility with diverse and affordable services. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and well maintained activities. Great place to practice your swing and blow off some steam.
I will update the review during winter, but it's more hotter than outside during the summer. Driving range is fine, the mini golf course is just not it.
Great place to come and spend some time. Whether it's working on your golf swing, practicing your putting or bringing the kids for a round of mini golf. Or try a round at any of the 5 virtual golf stations.Great place to hold a kids birthday party.Staff are very friendly and accommodating.Afterward, stick around for a bite to eat or just a cup of coffee or a cold beverage.
Hasent changed a bit but i like it!!!Been going to this place since i was 5 years old it has the Nostalgia. it is a great place great atmosphere, reat place to keep the swing going in the winter yadayada.... good priced food still and mini golf even in these times. Yes, the Simulators need an upgrade but otherwise they are still doing what has worked for the last 30 plus years.Definately one of the best businesses in winnipeg still!plan to keep comeing for the next 30 years!
This past Saturday my company hosted a staff and family event at the Golf Dome. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and the venue.Kristin and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are activities for all ages and the food was good. A great time was had by all!Thanks, Golf Dome for giving us a very memorable day!
I really like the Golf Dome and have been eating here once a week for months (I work across the street). I now have reduced hours at work and have been doing pickup orders as I only have 30 min to get there and back. apparently this is no longer allowed, even though I last placed a pickup order four days ago. thanks Golf Dome, I will miss you and your lovely cheap food. see you in summer, maybe.
My family and I love this place and super disappointed in them this evening because we invited friends with us for some birthday golf not a birthday party. We were told over the phone so many different things like we could reserve lanes if we had 11 or more ppl. Then we were told we weren’t allowed because we didn’t provide a courtesy call (this was RIGHT when they opened) and we wouldn’t be coming in till 7PM. Then we call right before because we found out a friend wanted to bring a small cake for our 9 year old. They said we could as they wouldn’t fight us or the person bringing it. Then when we arrived the girl was so curt with us and dismissive, I’ve never had an associate here with her attitude and unkindness. “The manager isn’t here and I say no to this cake so you can take it out of here”. Glad we didn’t have our actual party here. There’s a lot of other ways to get your message or rules across but this isn’t it. Hope you find a solution when your staff has zero customer service or communication skills. Also will note the one girl who was kind to us was left to make all the food we ordered as the other girl refused to help her with any of our orders and drinks even when our kids came up to order drinks. Super uncomfy to bring kids here. The worst part is the associate refused to let us store our ice cream cake in the freezer. So no cake for our birthday boy. I guess we could have left but he really wanted to stay and we thought they could turn this around, they didn’t. It got worse as the night progressed. Food came out 35-45 mins later and there was small charges for everyone for moving lanes LITERALLY after leaving the desk to find our lanes were no where near tables for all the food we ordered for everyone. Super disappointed this is the staff now working here. You should probably train people properly or not have 16 year olds working here serving beers.
It was a fun and super affordable outing for a couple hrs. I spent 60 dollars for 2 rounds of mini golf, 3 bud lights and slurpee and a huge combo platter for 22 bucks which had any 3 appetizers and complimentary nachos, kettle chips and all the dips, Definitely will go again ?
Started out well, but ended up bad: Took my 3 yo to play mini golf for the first time today. He was very excited. We played the first round and it went well. When we finished he asked to play again. So we purchased a 2nd round. About half way through a large group of older kids came through and they were misbehaving, playing through other people's games and walking/running through other people's games. They were also hitting their balls so hard they would fly right across the entire mini golf course.There were a few adults with them, doing nothing to try to fix this behavior, even walking through games themselves. At one point. My son almost got knocked over by some of the other kids. I was getting very annoyed but I didn't say anything. My son eventually told me he was uncomfortable with the other kids and asked to leave. I am very disappointed that the staff didn't enforce any rules or even approach the group to tell them this rude behavior was not acceptable. We left quickly since we were quite annoyed and I regret not asking for a refund. It will be a long time before we consider going back if at all. I am EXTREMELY disappointed having been there in the past (not for several years) and I had never had any problems before (this is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1)
Had soooo much fun in this dome! This place is super cool and awesome! There are lots of fun activities that you can do to enjoy. They have indoor driving range, miniature golf, virtual golf, and billiard tables. They have a snack bar too if you want to have a break from playing, and indulge for some drinks or munch something. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable. The Golf Dome is also perfect for beginners who wants to try golf as sports. A great place to spend time with your friends or family, not only during winter season but all year round.

The simulator is hot trash. Doesn't register some shots. Laser one down the middle and it goes 50 yards into the cabbage. Shank one off the ceiling and it somehow flies 300 down the middle of the fairway. They only give you three clubs for some reason so get ready to 5 iron yourself out of the beach. Other than that the rest of the place is fairly decent.
Very fun place for mini golf. Lots of choices for colour of ball. 18 holes, which was a good amount. Unlike other mini golf, which only have 18 holes.
Staff were nice. Very clean place. The washroom is clean as well. The kids love the golf. Will definitely come back.
Very nice place to shoot golf balls. Lots of space and lots of fun to shoot. Could spend hours there working on my swing. Mini golf is fun and it's open late!

This is a super fun place to hang out with friends and family. Very inexpensive, even when going for several rounds of mini golf pr trying out the pool tables. I came here with 3 friends for the afternoon and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I like the Canadian theme of the mini golf course. Will definitely be back again for another couple rounds!..
Mini Golf with kid. Can’t complain for $5! Course and props have quite a bit of wear and tear and is showing it’s age. Ball easily skips over the edges. It’s a “home-made” course but it’s all right. Kid had fun and that’s the most important part.
Wish this was another play center with all kinds of kids fun. Like a huge pool that is awesome. Not terribly impressed
The best place for your buck if you are a fast hitter and like being in the shade/out of the winter. This place is seriously great to come to after work and you just want to hit out a few buckets or not, it’s your choice - you’re being billed for the time you spend there. Three tiers of tee boxes for lefties and righties it’s hardly ever congested. Aside from being an awesome driving range, this place has billiards, virtual golf, mini golf, and arcade games, as well as being licensed and having food.
Fun Mini-Golf course, with a variety of Canadian location themed holes and neat little tricky obstacles this course is worth bringing the family. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even took our family picture upon request.
First time visiting. The dome was a great place to try the driving range. Bring golfing gloves so you dont get blisters

Staff were very friendly and provided alot of information about the different services and attractions of the golf dome. Fairly reasonable prices and you pay for time spent at the driving range here so it was a great experience to practice our swings. Afterwards we were able to enjoy trying our hand at the mini golf course at a pretty cheap rate. The facility also has a putting area to practice on. Over all me and my girlfriend left here feeling very satisfied.
Golfzon Winnipeg – Oak Bluff
My first experience at Pinseekers Golf Lounge was fantastic. I had the pleasure of attending a fundraising tournament here, and from the moment I stepped in, I was very impressed with the facility and service.Tournament ran smoothly, clear direction and instructions from the staff. I'm not an avid golfer but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Small food menu but the pizza and wings were very tasty, lots of beverage options.Looking forward to my next visit.
Showed up a little early and were told we could go straight in and begin. Never had been here before and needed to be shown what everything meant on the screen. (wind, slope, etc). Very helpful employee. Went to pay and noticed I was charged the extra $10.00 for the time we got to go in early. There was three of us, but only I had a $10.00 extra charge? They sure didn't take any money off when the machine screwed up and I had to get someone over to reset it so we could continue our game. Also no charge was taken off for the 5 to 10 minutes he spent explaining the options we could use with the program. Pretty petty if you ask me.EDIT: They have given me a gift card of $25.00 so in actuality a $15.00 gift card to give me back the $10.00 overcharge.
First night of their men's league. Atmosphere, staff, course selection and overall experience second to none. A wonderful place over the winter to keep playing the game we love in plus conditions. ➕️ 🏌♂️⛳️

Was very cool to check this place out! The graphics are great, lots of courses to pick from. Convenient that you can order Beers, water, pop and some minimal food options. Enough to get you through a quick 18. Reasonable pricing, considering it's for the bay and not per person. Only downside was there's no separation really between groups in different bays, not as private as some places. So overall, still really great! That's a minor downside!
Have gone a couple times with friends. An absolute blast, and state of the art simulators with moving floor. Really cool.However in my opinion the secret sauce of this place is the main front desk guy/owner. (apologies I forgot your name) Fantastic service, super friendly. I wish him nothing but the best and look forward to our next visit soon. 5/5 all day long.
I’ve been going to Golfzon since they first opened their doors in Winnipeg. Still by far the best user experience I’ve seen from a sim. Hands down. Plus the owner, JB, delivers top notch customer service. He takes care of his customers, knows them by name, and is always accommodating.
Out of all sims I've played this one is my favorite for accuracy and ease of use. Staff and owner are also very nice. Glad for them to see them so busy. Great for food and drinks as well

There is no better place to catch a round of golf anytime of year, the owner loves you from the second you walk through the door and you are always taken care of. Full table service and the food prices can not be beat. JB has built a little paradise for golfers and I thank him

Love the simulators. Great picture. Very receptive to shots. Expensive unless you play 9 to noon as a senior. Cancelled my last booking when they said we needed masks at all times. Usually once you're in a cubicle masks didnt matter.
I took my team out on Nov 13/21. We rented all 5 bays for 4 hours. What can i say...amazing time. Everyone that came had an absolute blast. Drinks and food were great as well. BJ (owner) and his wife were wonderful. Highly recommend.
Best Virtual Golf set up in Winnipeg hands down even as far as Canada wide for me. I’ve been to some virtual golf places in Toronto and Vancouver. Doesn’t even beat this place in terms of their set up.Great way to play and work on your swing throughout the winter or even all seasons! You won’t regret coming. Quality quality experience.

Delicious ice cream served at a golf driving range / virtual golf. Unfortunately the entire facility is closing at the end of August. 🙁
I hit this place up when the weather is bad, the range is covered and heated.....In the summer they also have a very good ice cream store inside, a hidden gem!!!

It's good nothing to write home about, pretty much what you would expect. Although this is probably just me but I'm always worried about hitting my driver on the wall when swinging

Spent an hour here hitting balls. Good price and easy to self serve. I've only ever heard amazing things about the ice cream shop however they were closed for the season unfortunately! Only downside is that the grass is pretty much dead .

I didn't go for the driving range.I went for the ice-cream shop🍦🍦🍦.Ok folks this little ice-cream shop is a hidden gem in Winnipeg!!! 😊The parlour has 16 to 20 flavours possibly a few more.They serve hard and soft ice-cream. It's very fresh and they also have a variety of cone choices. It is a truly worth the stop.I will certainly be going back.
The portions of ice cream are out of control. Just kidding it's just great bang for your buck and you can tell they care because the ice cream is always fresh like they regularly clean the machines and it's beautiful. Not lots of seating so most people eat in their cars but it's worth it !
Best place to get ice cream! My personal favourite is the swirl. Tons of options no matter what you prefer: hard, blizzards, splits, sundaes, soft serve with dip, etc. The family that owns the store is always very welcoming and kind. Only thing I would recommend changing is getting sturdier spoons when getting it in a cup as the hard scoops are too solid for the spoons they currently have!
Cheaper than DQ and for way more. Ice cream is excellent. Service is wonderful (they gave moms roses on Mother's Day for example).
Not only are the ice cream portions HUGE but the quality is great as well! Soft serve is fabulous and made with real cream. I love their twisters which have bold flavours that last until the last bite. This place has simple options, but lots of them! Did I mention the HUGE portions? Your going to get your money's worth here. Service is friendly and quick too. My favourite item on the menu is the Tropical Twister! They have several fun dip flavours for cones too.

These guys are clowns. I just called them to book an appointment to see if I need to get my lie angels changed on my new off the shelf taylormade p790s. All the guy did was laugh and tell me I am not very smart for buying clubs without getting fit. Club fitting is not available in my area so small stores and on line shopping is what you get. So what I am getting at is I didn't appreciate getting laughed at and basically called stupid. GREAT WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS GOLF TEC..
Joel at GolfTec is an exceptional coach. He analyzed my swing, pinpointing the reasons behind the flight path of the ball. Focusing on ball contact, swing path, and face position, Joel's guidance enabled me to achieve good shots within just 30 minutes of each session. The ability to review video footage was invaluable in understanding and correcting my techniques in real-time. The saved videos allow me to revisit lessons whenever I need, contributing significantly to my improvement as a golfer. Thanks to GolfTec and Joel, my skills have advanced far beyond what I thought possible.
I got several classes cancelled before notice. When I moved I got the word from them that I could use my remaining classes I bought on another province and didn’t happen, super disappointed.
I am very happy with my experience at Golftec. Mike is a great coach, and Colwyn and the gang are also great. Have really just started golfing seriously in the past couple years, and I'm enjoying my journey mainly because of the lessons I have been getting. If you want to improve your game (who doesn't?), it really is a no brainer to sign up here!
One of my retirement goals was to improve my golf game, and my son-in-law recommended GolfTec. My experience has been absolutely positive, and the improvement in my game has been well beyond what my expectations were when I signed-up. My coach, Colwyn Abgrall, is able to identify and clearly explain dozens of minor tweaks for every type of shot — that all make a huge difference. I appreciate his friendliness, and patience with people like me who began lessons as a very “high-handicap” golfer. I highly recommend GolfTec Winnipeg to anybody looking to improve their golf game.
Will not do a driver fitting with one you already own, if you are looking to upgrade shafts or learn how different shafts work before committing to buy a $3-400 shaft. Only interested in fitting you with new clubs.Not everyone can afford to just replace a one year old driver. Also seems odd if you take a lesson and they know you have the wrong shaft to improve your game you would think selling you on the perfect shaft would be a huge bonus for player and the coach.And if they reply saying they do, I was specifically told on the phone they do not do this. So did not book a lesson/fitting.
I had always wanted to try a GolfTEC lesson program and finally pulled the trigger this winter. My coach (Colwyn Abgrall) started with a detailed swing evaluation and over the next 3 months, helped evolve my swing. I have a more consistent draw pattern with all my clubs and added distance (especially my driver). Colwyn knows his craft and was able to simplify the concepts and leverage the visual/virtual technology. I found it very beneficial to see my swing path and shoulder/hip turn on the monitors (and in slow motion) as I made the adjustments over the period. Colwyn is not only an expert but he is a true golf enthusiast. I have to say, all the staff at the Winnipeg Pembina Hwy location are very professional, friendly and service oriented.
If you are looking to take your golf game to the next level then I would highly recommend getting lessons at Golftec. My coach Colwyn Abgrall (former Manitoba mens amateur champion) has been awesome at identifying the flaws in my swing as well as how to correct those flaws. The facility is awesome and staff are very friendly. I think golfers of all skill levels would see noticeable improvements in their golf game after getting lessons here and I can't wait to take my new and improved golf swing to the course this summer! 5/5
My coach was great, very knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to help me improve my golf game. I would gladly work with him outside of the company if that were possible and golf with him on weekends. The customer service side of things is not as great. I paid a lot of money and even bought clubs through them instead of going somewhere else and the service I received in return was sub par. The swing monitors only worked half the time if I was able to get in at all for lessons or even practice. They seem to only want your money and as soon as they have it they move on to getting other peoples money and leave you behind, even if you still have lesson credits/fitting credits
I signed up for golf lessons at GolfTec with Joel Rhodes. Fantastic instructor! Helped me with my game taking me from a 27 handicap to a 14 in one year. Can't give this organization a high enough rating! Highly recommend if you are looking at improving your game.
The staff are friendly professional and very accommodating even in these tough times. Sean Lancaster works with me and has been amazing to work with, highly recommend to anyone wanting to not only learn but improve their game always go home with tips and techniques to work on. Have the video of practice to review, and techniques to work on in between practices. Could not ask for a better learning environment. Quite often even text and talk off hours with reminders of things to work on if we are not scheduled to see each other due to my travel or work he still keeps in touch, always encouraging! Want to improve and get your game a bit more consistent with more confidence this is a great place to do that!
Sean Lancaster wasted a month and a half of my time. cancelled my appointment 4hours before it was supposed to start... done nothing to correct his error... dont even care... the guy basically told me his time was more important then mine....this place is trash and a waste of time, money and patience. do yourself a favour and get lessons at a course.
If your looking to improve your game and become more consistent, this is the right place. Joel has done a great job over the past 12 months breaking down my swing and working on improvements one at a time, rather then making it an overwhelming experience.
I called today to set up an appointment. I was shocked at how long the wait list was. Over a month!! My customers go through the same shock. Honestly it was comforting because there must be a reason for the wait. The reason must be quality.I spoke to a very professional and courteous employee by the name of "Nick". He answered all of my questions, engaged in some small talk, and just overall was a pleasure to deal with. Nick also suggested I go on the waiting list in case something came up sooner due to cancellation. Nick was very informative and transparent about pricing. Honestly....this type of employee is hard to come by. Great job Nick! Management....hope you read this because you have an excellent employee in Nick.I am a slightly better than average golfer looking for help to take it to the next level. Golftec Winnipeg has been hugely beneficial to my golf game. Not only do they explain what you need to do but they also educate you on why you need to do it. Once you learn why the ball is going in the direction it is, it's much easier to apply the concepts they teach you to correct it.My lessons have been with Mike Marion who was able to change my ball flight form a wipe fade to a draw in 1 month. I gained a club in length while at the same time making my swing shorter and more consistent.The motion measurement device and video is a huge plus. All three pros are willing and able to help with any questions that come up during your practice time. In a winter city like Winnipeg, having a facility to work on your game with a launch monitor and video is like gold and I would encourage anyone interesting in improving their game to go to Golftec.Mike
