Worst Golf Simulator location in all HRM. Upkeep of equipment is lacking and affecting play for golfer. Cash only, which is sketchy and inconvenient. Service is poor.Been doing indoor golf sims for last 10years and would suggest avoiding Golfzon Halifax. Why pay full price for broke down equipment, the owner thinks u still should. Poor customer service
If you are looking for an indoor golf simulator in Halifax, I Definitely recommend this place. Their staffs are very friendly and the overall vibe is very quiet and calm. There are no distractions at all, and the prices are way cheaper than their competitors from what I know.
The ball resetting machines broke last year ,so now you have to set the ball by hand for every shot . I don't know why this place is cash only ... they used to take debit and credit cards .
Had a fun time. No issues with the simulator, it worked fine. The atmosphere was great. The service was awesome. Will return again.

Golfed next to 5 very loud guys who had too much to drink in the middle of the afternoon and dropped F-bombs for every third word spoken. Staff just ignored. Disappointing experience, will try Indian Lake next time.

Patrons Rec Room – Bedford
Stopped in last Sunday night for drinks and a bite to eat. Food was fantastic! Wings and Seafood Chowder (not sure why its not on the menu)....are as good as anywhere in the City. The girls working Sunday night were fast, friendly and gave great service. Can't wait to go back.

Great service. Deck, bar, tables, couches and comfy chair seating. The food was to die for and lots of Gluten Free options. Local beers on tap. Golf simulators available to rent. Overall great place for some pre-drinks or an intimate dinner
Service was poor. Only 6 other people in the bar, but my glass was empty for 20+ minutes. Our waitress sent a lot of time flirting with her bf (I'm assuming this bc he grabbed her butt a few times). Live music was great, but not worth the poor service. I would not recommend.
No doubt the best nachos in the city. I've had them several times and they are always impressive. Service is warm and friendly. Be back soon!
Great place to hang, live music was terrific. 1st time golf simulator was a great experience. Drinks were on point, the Blue Hawaiian is a fruity drinkers too choice.
Overall good food selection and costumer service.I went there for lunch, asked for a piece of bread (I'm pregnant and bread helps me with nausea) and they said they don't have any, not out of it. What kind of restaurant doesn't have any kind of bread in their kitchen.
Update: watch the bill, after getting home and having a chance to review, we were double charged for an item. Star removed. Been a place I've passed my times over the years but never have gone. Tried it out and ready liked it, just wished it was a 1/2 priced sharables. Food was great, we ordered way too much, relaxed atmosphere and might have to try the golf sometime.
I’m doing a 3 but it’s really more of a 3.5. We were first timers doing a private golf room. The room itself was generous and well set up with lots of room to play and sit. A pleasant couch and chair as well. The food - we had some sharables and beer - was all perfectly standard for a modern pub. The golf experience however needs help. The simulator software being used is lacking. We play virtual golf weekly using the E6 software and Patrons system (is poor in comparison - especially given that Patrons is more expensive. The projection is week, the projection screen is torn up and saggy, the computer had a broken screen, the tee box does not allow you to effectively place your own tee in the ground (the white placement nub is not helpful). Service was very good. These small things could be taken care of pretty easily. And I would strongly recommend they switch to E6 as the golf experience is much, much better.

A disappointing experience here, we booked a room for 2 hours online and had called to get a further confirmation with the staff several hours in advance, however when we arrived in time, we were told that the room wasn’t available at that time since they overlapped the bookings and we had to wait for a half of hour till the last group finished. Losing 30 minutes, we finally had the room but they said it would be closed in 1.5 hours around 10.30 even though the opening time showing on google map is from 10am to midnight.Also very disappointed with the equipments, especially those mic-foams are tattered and have not been changed after being used by last group, that is very unsanitary.Everything needs to be more organized.
Great visit to Patrons for lunch. This is part indoor golf driving range and part restaurant. Overall, the service was very good, friendly and attentive. Food quality was also good, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is good although you will hear the wack of a golf ball as folks practice their drive. Looking around, I did notice a dead poinsettia on the floor in the corner of the restaurant, assuming it was leftover from Christmas.One thing we all were surprised to find out and you should consider, is they do not serve any coffee there! This is the first restaurant I've visited that serves almost everything, except coffee (Note to management, put coffee on menu!).All in all, if you are a golfer or not, Patrons is worth a visit to gather with friends for a few drinks or a bite to eat. The driving range also looks fun.
The servers are very attention to details, service was superb especially Taylor & Jaelyn. They took care of us from the minute we walked into the Patrons. The service here is not only great but also consistent. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Here with friends for New Year’s Eve countdown. Hands down the cleanest and nicest ktv east of Quebec without a doubt. This is perfect for social gathering or team building. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to have a fun outing.
It's unfortunate, but similar to others; I did not have the best interaction with this establishment. I reserved karaoke rm 2 weeks in advance for a colleague's birthday and wanted to gain clarification on the pricing because it was not clear online. After numerous voice messages and emails, I finally DM'd them on Instagram and received an immediate response. Hours before our arrival, I received a call stating that the machine was broken and would we mind rescheduling. It seemed disinegenuine, and I don't believe that was the reason it was cancelled because days later a staff member returned my call as if that encounter never happened. I will not be rescheduling.
The service attitude is very poor. The waitress puts her hand into the water glass when serving us water. There was a big gap in the volume of the microphone, and he directly entered our private room rudely to turn down our voice because the neighbor thought we were too noisy. , and this problem is because you did not do a good job of sound insulation during the decoration, which is not a problem that customers should bear.

There is one server there that is amazing and I'd give 5 stars if service was like that normally.But today sadly, different server and I walk in at 1045pm, the sign said open and hours say open til 12.People are drinking, I sit down at bar and see no server. About 5 mins go by and a lady comes out from back and hurriedly starts capping draft things and cleaning up, she never even acknowledged me sitting there looking up at her every few seconds trying to wait for a drink. She never stopped to even say we're closed or give me a few mins or whatever, just walked away from bar and started doing other closing up looking stuff without saying anything. I finally just got up and left and as I walked passed her to leave I swear she gave me a look that says she knew what she did.Absolutely terrible, would put 1 star if that was my first visit but I guess I was lucky on the last few times and they had someone there that didn't completely ignore people.
Service was brutal, slow and distracted. But the food was terrific! Surprisingly good and I will certainly return!
I love coming here because it’s close by, but the last 5 times I’ve been here..if not more lol.. you’re always closing early.. the servers always say “it’s last call”.. an hour or 2 before close.. if you don’t plan on staying open even with a full bar, you should advertise different hours. There is always an “we want you to leave” vibe.. Super bad for business
Moved to Nova Scotia about 2.5 years ago, I eat out almost every day even if it was only drive through during the worst of the lockdown, and this was my worst dining experience since moving here. I wanted to support the Burger Bash so I had the Smoky Bacon and Chorizo burger and coffee. I asked for cream and sugar for the coffee (which turned out to be Keurig) only to be told that they only have Splenda. (I should have left right then). When the burger came the top of the bun was glistening and when I picked it up my hand was coated in grease as if the bun landed in the patty's grease on the grill. It was a good thing that I had asked for utensils since the cloth napkin was pretty big. I used the paper napkin to blot up as much grease from the bun as I could. The burger itself was pretty tasty (probably 7/10) but then I tried the fries. $4 extra for about the same amount as a small fries at McD's. And they weren't a golden brown like fries should be but dark brown to almost black. The colour wasn't so much from over-cooking, although they were well done, I figure it was from oil that has been used far too long between changes. The girls were friendly. The best thing about Patron's is their location, both Lawton's and Shopper's are close by so you can quickly purchase Gaviscon or Tums.
One of the most out of pocket experiences I have ever had at an establishment. I had booked out the Karaoke room a few nights ago for a friends birthday, and had made the reservation over a week in advance. We walked in for our 8pm reservation, and we told the server/bartender we were here, and they said "Oh I hate the Karaoke." We laughed and weren't sure if they were serious or not, but they then said "I'll go check on it for you." There were 10 of us waiting at the front door for 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to update us on the room. Eventually the same guy came out and said "We can't get the system to work." My friend, who's birthday it was, said "No worries, we'll wait. Can we have a drink at the bar?" The server said "No like I don't think the Karaoke is going to work at all." And we all stood there extremely confused. It seemed to us that they did not want serve us, or for us to be there at all. One of my other friends heard another server say to others who must have been regulars, as it was league night, something like "Ugh they're here for Karaoke but we didn't know." The guy server came back out and said that it was not going to work. I said, "Don't you think if there had been a reservation for this room for over a week that you would check to make sure that the system was working? Or called to let us know before all of us came all this way?" And he literally shrugged and walked away. Did not offer any apology, explanation or a solution to figure this out. I was shocked to say the LEAST. As a group of servers, we are completely shocked by this service. It was degrading, embarrassing and downright rude. If you hate the Karaoke room so much, don't have one? Or if it interferes with "league night" don't have it available to book? So disgusting and none of us will ever be back, or will have a good word to say about this place. Sad because I had been before to use the golf simulator which was fun, but service was also poor that time as well. Can't say anything about food or drinks really because none was offered, and they clearly didn't want the service.
April 26/22Apps were okMy burger was dry made worse by very little sauce on the burger.My brother and his wife did not like the stir fry..had too much cabbage and not enough sauce or rice ( and rice was hard)The dessert!!!!!! When you only have 2 desserts in your menu , they should be both delicious!My husband liked the cheesecake , although very small for 8 bucks.As far as the cookie , it was awful , the cookie was hard and had no taste , I would be able to get a better cookie at the cornerstone ! And we paid $8!!!We told the waitress who did nothing . very dissatisfied.The waitress was friendly and nice however

We arrived after 7:00 on a Sunday. Our waitress took great care of us! Good food, played tasteful music, as well they have beautiful high and low tables with cozy lights to warm up the atmosphere.
I had a wonderful evening here last night! The performer Terry Main was phenomenal and the food was delicious. My wife and I were waited on by a wonderful young lady with blonde hair, the name has slipped my mind but please if she is reading this my wife and I want to thank you for the excellent service you provided us.My wife and I were however slightly concerned and confused as to why other staff members were mopping the full dining areas floor during peak hours? Not only did this seem to be dangerous it also made us feel quite rushed. Apart from this, once again; we had an amazing evening and will be back soon! Thank you.

It started with them forgetting to put us down for a reservation. Then our server started slamming chairs down to accommodate our party of 10. Once seated it took awhile for us to even be asked what we wanted to drink. Then it took awhile to get those drinks, then it took awhile for our orders to be taken, then it took awhile for our food to come. In between all of these things we were not asked how things were or apologized to for anything. Every worker was on their phones and chatting with each other. Then came our food…. Except my mothers. Our server asked if we needed anything else not even noticing my mother had no food. Once she was told we waited another 5 minutes and our server came running out with a bowl of fries for my mom and stated the chef was not happy with the first burger he made. Which wasn’t true. Obviously. Then bill time came. She had the wrong orders on different bills. Argued with me about my bill which had a whole other meal on it. Came back with another bill with no difference other then a pop taken off of it. Finally I got my right bill, and as I was paying, another server came up to our table and asked if we had used the stack of plates they gave us in the middle of the table. When she found out we didn’t she proceeded to say “ ooooooo the dishwasher will be so happy they don’t have to wash these” and brought the plates back over to the shelf to be used again. Disgusting. Y’all shouldn’t be open.The day this happened was Saturday February 12 at 430pm

Golfzon Sackville – Lower Sackville
This is a good indoor golf course. There is food and beer here. The friendly staff showed me how to do it. It was a very good experience. I think I'd like to go again.
Came with a large group, so pre-arranged to start at 9am. They showed up an hour late to open, so they agreed to let us stay an hour later....go to pay, and they charged for an extra hour.Simulator isn't as good as a trackman, but is still fun. More geared to people looking for fun or getting into the game. Not for experienced players looking for practice.Overall pass, head to the next sim in your area.
There is good price and good system. I like to place ball automatically . I never seen auto tee up in Nova Scotia .
I was placed in a bay with a broken launch monitor. Obviously cracked on the face plate which it tracked your ball through and appeared to be fixed with scotch tape. Very frustrating because I would place my ball, and the light on the monitor would come on indicating it was properly placed. Mid swing the light would go off and it wouldn't read my shot. This happened once every three shots or so.Im use to using trackman and can tell what my ball is going to do when I strike it, this simulator was relatively good at calculating range, but was very weak at calculating gear effect or a simple draw pattern shot.I tried to find the brand of monitor, but it wasn't displayed anywhere.When I arrived I was shown to a sim bay and that was it….No intro on how to use the simulator, it took me about 10 minutes to teach myself how to use it.When I tried to talk to staff about whether they were going to fix it or not they acted like they didn't understand english.

Simulator price is pretty good...simulator has auto ball placement which is pretty neat (most of the time), pizza next door ordered for food...needed plates, napkins.Owner operator so you know they care..I'll be back.🏌️

Their fried calamari is really one of a kind, along with a wide selection of beer at a very reasonable price, which I believe one of the cheapest sports bars in HRM. I couldn't recommend it more! 4 star for a tad old murky interior, tho it shouldn't matter for the golf players. Owned and operated by a chic Korean guy so it could be a perfect place for a language exchange if you like.
Not impressed. Got there 15 min early for a 1 hr rental. Waited for another group to finish. Management couldn't keep things running on time. Left 15 min after our scheduled start time when the foursime ahead of us still wasnt finished We won't be back. Lots of other well run golf simulators around now.
Brian Affleck Golf Academy – Stellarton
Brian is an excellent teacher for all ages and skill levels. He's extremely personable, can explain things in a variety of ways, and truly cares about his students. I've had great improvement and more importantly, better understanding of my game as a direct result of time spent learning from Brian.The simulator setup works well for lessons, quantifiable feedback is always important. It's also a ton of fun to play rounds of golf on during the winter season. His sim is a bit older but the club and ball data is more than good enough. It's within 1.5 mph for ball speed and club speed as compared to Trackman in my experience.
